Default What 4.6l 3v block is this?

I think the block number is 6l3e-6k318-aa. Not positive about that being the block number but I just want to know what I have, I know its a cast iron block. I wanted to rebuild it with the stroker kit making it a 4.9l and stick it in my green s281 3 valve that currently has 124k miles. And build that car up to around 800 hp. Just wondering if this block will work.

The part number you listed is the rear oil seal housing for a 4.6L 3V SOHC block. Mustang GTs are aluminum blocks. Cast iron blocks are used in the 2006+ Ford Explorer and the 2007+ Ford Explorer Sport Trac. The heads are the same and are aluminum.
