Default mph gauge

i had the stock 308's in my car, now i got 373, im also changing my 85mph to the 140mph and i gotta 88gt, where is the gear i change to calibrate it? in the trans? at the end of the spedo cable in the trans? witch gear is the correct one? the white gear?

I'm not sure which gearyou would chage it to, but the gear is at the end of the cable that goes into the transmission. It's like one bolt and maybe a clip and she'll come out. Careful of spilled ATF.

The speedo gear is in the tailshaft of the tranny.You need the cable,gear,and cluster from the dash.

I think I've seen 140 speedos that are already calibrated for the stock setup. Like inside the gauge so it will give you the right speed without doing the rest of that stuff and it will go past 85.
