3:55 rear end gears ?

3:55 rear end gears ?
i installed 3:55's in my 88 5.0. My question is that i was wondering if these gears are supposed to wine when goin along in first or letting off. I have heard that they did but they whine pretty good and was jsut wondering what you guys think. Kinda got worried i didnt think that they would be that loud.

Well now wait a minute. You know how all manual cars whine in reverse? I thought I've noticed that they do the same thing in first under light acceleration--on all cars. Maybe I'm trippin.

When i did my 355's, i knew to put in the Ford Racing gears. The guy that did them for me told meto only use FMS gears. He has put in cheaper gears, and has had nothing but problems with whinning. Put in the FMS, he says he never has problems with them.
