Platinum Autolites are just platunum tipped copper cores, just like the OE platinum Motorcrafts. They wont give you the issue that full platinum cores will. +4's are just good enough to throw at ppl.

I use bosch plat. x4 and love them. Haven't had any issues at all.

the car idles fine until warmed up it jumps from 500 to 1000 maybe less i checked fuel pressure and it was fine
i changed the oxygen sensors but i got 86 lx not the gt model so i had to make the connectors work
the guy at autozone said that was all i had to do. can bad grounds cause this problem or possibly the throttle body
somebody put on its a 70 mm bbk edelbrock and i am running accel wires stock for the car

try cleaning you maf,throttlebodt,egr and IAC

there is no maf and where is the iac? what does it look like and what do i clean it with

my book says to gap plugs at .44 and the sticker under my hood says 48-52 could that be my problem i
gapped them at 44
