Default best heads for 347

afr 185
victor jr.
gt40x
i cant decide on what heads i want but i want ones that will give me the most power and im taking apart my motor this winter again so i can add the new top end parts but the heads are the only thing i cant decide on..i have nitrouse in the car rite now and am goin to put a procharger on it to so what heads wood be best for my combo...thanx

out of the 3 you listed I would go for the victor JR.the AFR may be better out of the box but the JRS have lots of room to grow.IMO

whats the issue with the valve clearence cause it says that with the afr heads that the pistons have to b notched for clearence and the specs that i got with my 347 said that the pistons were allready notched and ready for use of the gt40x heads..i called ford to ask them cause ive heard a lot of good things about afr 185s and the guy told me that ide have a 95% chance of the afr's fitting but i dont want to by them and not have the rite clearence on them if the pistons are already ready to go for the gt40x heads.. does n e one no if they use the same clearence and if the afrs wood work good
