go to sears and buy a kit that is used to remove nuts. i work at discount tire and we just pound a special socket on there and boom there you go

go to sears and buy the lug out kit
for 20 bucks you can get any size lug off it comes with i think 3 or 4 twosided socekts with a tapered thread that will bite into the lock nut and get it out
lock nuts will be shot but you'll get your tires off

im never putting lock nuts on my car again i lose everything and in all honesty i dont have 20 bucks to spend on that thing im building my car and its going to take 4500 and i need to get it done by may 13, and i have the ****tiest job that i make horrible money at so im struggling to even get this done

ok well ive tried everything i have everything off but the tie rods and i can get the fork in there with the rim on because the angle i have to go at it makes it hit the backing plate so how do you suggest i get them off? and no where has that kit that you guys were talking about

jack the car up, support on jackstands or tires. lock the steering colum, in straigh position or close.
unbolt the two tie rods from the hubs(leave on rack).
, remove the two rack mounting bolts/nuts for rack,
remove the small pinion bolt on steering shaft driver side near exhaust, youll have to beat the two pieces apart. soak in w 40 overnight helped.
remove the lines at the rack when its out of its position to make very easy. an hour job or less.
oh , dont even bother trying to get the tie rods off the rack, their rusted to stay, just leave em on and buy new ones $10 each. keep tires centered as possible and then get alignment

no im not i cant get the tir rods off the hub and its pissing me off thats all i have left and then i cant take it in and get my core money buy tie rods and put the new one in
