Default gears and the posi unit

got my girlfriend a 91 gt... auto....

i am putting in 4.10's but my question is

with the trac loc... if i get the rebuild plates, would i notice a difference? and what difference would i notice? would it brake loose around the right hand corners easier?

the rebuild discs will give you a bit better traction. Chances are the stock plates are getting a bit worn. These discs have friction material on them that wears out(like brakes and clutch). The rear end wont brake loose more around corners. Its a good idea to change the friction dics if your goin in there. Dont forget the friction modifier for those new discs.

ive heard about people putting in one extra disc to make it a tighter fit...

anyone ever heard of that?
