RE: ported e7's need help quick
e7s ported can make good power but ur honestly better off wit gt40's from the junkyard or if you must buy them new. but if u buy em new than u might as well go wit afr or trick flow. but all the same gt40 from the junkyard.

seriously, the links i gave are for either 40's or 40p's and either way is cheaper/better than dicking with the E7's.
get the reman'd P's from clearwater cylinder head for 350 and you still got 150 towards proper headers
like i said before, working in a machine shop we have gotten a few heads from clearwater and they do quality oem spec work.

The heads have been done on my 91 but not sure what brand. I know they are 190 intake and 160 exhaust. Should I get another set or are these fine. They are painted black and not sure if they are aluminum or steel. Thinking about a cam swap because I dont know if that was done or not. I Also have BBK shorties on there. Will that affect what type of heads to get?

RE: ported e7's need help quick
you need to figure out what it is exactly that you have. your intake should be either a 1.84/1.85 or a 1.94. highly doubtfull there is a 1.90 valve in there.
your headers will work with just about any heads you buy, but long tubes are always better

194 sounds about right. I am not to sure. I want to tear it down but when I do I want to do any changes at that same time. I know its hard to do without really knowing. Long tubes would be nice that may be next on my list. So a decent set of heads go for about 500. That isnt to bad. What does a cam job usually run for parts and labor. I am sure I could do it myself but I wouldnt want to mess anything up.

cam = couple hundred bucks.
new timing chain and a gasket set = about a hundred bucks
labor = ???? who the hell knows, depends on the shop. its not THAT hard.... you could do it - just research what you gotta do first. plenty of help on these forums

210cc a little big for most 5.0's running around on the street dont you think? and no pics? kinda scares me.
AFR 165's or even 185's if you going buck wild... or some trick flow twisted wedge.... or some world sportsmans..... or canfields..... or darts...... or holley systemmax II's....... or edelbrock performer rpms...... shall i continue?
if you wanna go nutz.... the trick flow R's would be an excellent choice but are way too much for a 302 on the street.
