Plumbing ???
I have a 91 gt with a vortech v-1 s-trim on it. I recently bought a vortech race bypass valve for it and can't find a good way to plumb the blown off air back into the system. if i don't put the air back into the system the mass air system gets it all messed up. Is there anyway to put the mass air meter ahead of the blow off valve? and are there any kits that go from the BOV back into the factory port??
Thanks, Jason

RE: Plumbing ???
you will need a blow-thru MAF to be able to put the meter in front of the bypass/blowoff valve. I am just using the stock bosch bypass valve and dont know too much about the race valve, why cant you just hook it up to the intake in front of the blower in the stock location?

I've heard something about a blow through MAF sensor but never really understood how it worked. I would love to just move the MAF sensor right next to the throttle body or just anywhere after the BOV.

If you go with a blow thru maf instead of a draw thru MAF you will not have to worry about plumbing the bypass valve, you can just let it vent into atmosphere. With the draw thru MAF you have nowyou have to let that air recirculate because it was already metered and if you just vent it into the airit will cause the car to run verry rich. With the blow thru the MAF never sees the air let out by the blowoff valve so the computer wont add too much fuel.

RE: Plumbing ???
Are you getting this tuned afterwards? because if you are i would suggest asking your tuner what MAF to get. When i was looking for one i heard PRO-M's were the best and thats what i bought and everyone said the C+L's were junk. So i paid alot for a Pro-m meter and when i went to get it tuned they told me there meter was WAY off, and the car was running horrible. They told me that they always had really good luck with C+L meters and i put one on and the car ran great. It would have saved me alot of time and money if i would have asked them in the first place
