Ive been noticing lately that when i accelerate (most noticable in 4th gear) that my car makes this really strange noise. It sounds like a knocking noise but its not coming from the engine bay its like right near the middle of the car.

Sounds like a U Joint on the driveshaft.

U joint. mine did the same thing replaced it.....guess what!? no more noise. w00T!

my guess is u-joint or trans bushing as well

shake theDS and see what moves around if anything

I'd have to say U joint as well. If it's making that kind of noise you definitely should be able to tell by shaking it with you rhand.

I had an odd U joint failure, the front one two bearings dried out and it made a hideous squeal only when I was on the gas hard. Took forever for me to figure it out but once I did I was glad because the U joint was ready to explode
