I don't mean to hi-jack the thread, but anyone out there have experience with the Thumper E7 heads?. They sound interesting and they claim they out flow the GT40X head, and the Dart SR head. At$700 bucks including shipping, are they worth the money?

LOL you can get used AFR's for that price
you are right... maybe you can't get AFR's for that price..

but at $695, plus shipping, which is a minimum of atleast $65... your looking at the mid $700 range. The only way I would possibly spend that kind of money on a set of stock heads is if I was running in a Factory Stock class at the strip.

other than that... its a wasted effort

I was just curious if anyone had used them. I'm not willing to be the guinea pig. The$695 included shipping and a $100 core.Their claims just sounded interesting. If you believe his flownumbers (218.9/154 @ .500 lift), they out flow the AFRs and TFS heads, while still using stock valves for good low end torque?. There was a guy here that had them on his 88 notch, I saw himqualifying for Pinks All Out. He claims he'srunning 10.50s, but he had twin turbos to boot. I'm leaning towards the Patriot heads.

fyi the patriot heads arent even on their website yet but they are listed in the magazines and a few sellers on ebay have them for less than 900 before shipping. they ARE 2.02 valves though, so stock pistons beware
