i have 2 broken lifters on my 94 gt, can i remove lifters without pulling heads???

yes. the upper and lower plenum will have to come off though. do you know what lifters are bad? how did you find out they are bad. have you looked at the pushrods, or check to see if your rockers are lose at all?

we thought the rockers were out of adjustment so we went ahead and redid all that good stuff. well then we noticed a problem on intake valve cyl. 2. you could watch as the lifter rose up ward and the pushrod sunk in until it finally opened the valve. andbeing a hydraulic itshouldgive slightly but not that much. so i put a dialindicator on cylinder 1 and i got .480' on both valves. goto problem cyl2 intakevalve and only see a total lift of .275'. keep on going through the cylinders until cylinder 5 exhaust valve and see the same problem, .280' of total lift there. finish off the rest of the cylinders and they are all good. these arenewfrpp lifters as ofthis year. the pushrods are all straight the roll perfect.

i have to do the same job so do i need 2 take out the over intake or just upper then the vc then take of the fulcrum and stuff and see wear?

if your replacing lifters, youll need to remove upper and lower intakes, vc's and rockers. they do come out without pulling heads.
