Based on what? i bet if you through a set of aftermarket heads on you would gain power, for sure. so they aren't the best. But for a budget build, looking for s stock look yes they are OK.

dont they flow a hell of a lot better then the gt-40 heads, and if you port them and give them a valve job wouldnt they prety much match most aftermarket? obviously there are better,

I have 351 w 69 D0OE Heads, 1.94 INTAKE 1.6 EXHAUST, milled .030, stage 3 port and polish, enlarged blended bowls. Bought em like that.

I attest to these heads, .Built right, they are sick.[&:]

But the aftermarket heads are better quality, easier to install, makes more of a broader range of power.

Its not just how much you flow, its how the heads are created, lower rpms , its a dog, all top end is a beast
