Do not get me wrong TFS/AFR heads are very Good but I think i should have researched better and have gone an other route, the GT40 route which is a lot cheaper than the after market products. I mean mountainers, explorers carried the gt40p heads and lets not forget the upper and lower intakes which we can use too. Sure might have to get different headers but still cheaper then going the TFS or AFR route which you still have to replace the headers for better flow.I know my next project I am going the gt40 route. My 2 cents.

i just got my explorer motor today. complete from intake to oil pan.

F*ck it let me just go pull the motor out of my Expedition (5.4) and drop it in my 83 and lets have some fun lol.
