i never did ask him...he just said the heads would work good for a 5.0 ho motor. like he ran. i have my motor tore down at the moment, not out of car.....i see X marks down each side...whats that mean? i have had other 5.0's tore down before, never seen that.

im not even sure its a 93 motor...the idiot i bought it off of told me that....well when i got it home, barely,cuz it wouldnt run worth a **** half way home. i tore it apart, it had a x cam with stock heads....needless to say it bent just about all the valves. where are the #'s to run for the year?

yes...in the lifter valley...there is 3 x's on each side.

ahhhhhhhhhhh............passanger side of the block just above the starter close to where the dowl pin is that goes into the bellhousing..if it's a roller block.. it'll either start with e5 = 85....most common it E7TE AND in 91 ....F1.......

yes and if it's a 87-90 roller block it'll denote the same....e = 80's , 7= year specific and so forth
