holley systemaxx intake is awesome and yeah i'd upgrade the cam while your down there instead of putting it all back together then realizing in a month or so that you want to change it.

I'll have to look back in my mags but MM&FF did a test/independent one on 8-10 intakes on the same engine and all they did was swap out intakes..it was a mild build if I remember and the ssi was the low man on the totem pole ranking 9th or 10th I believe....the rpm II along with the systemax were the front runners
