ok.. im not really sure how to describe it but i'll try. my car will make a weird popping noise and not want to accelerate. generally only in 1st or 2nd gear but every now and then 3rd. when i let off the clutch and start to accelerate, i can hear and feel the engine kinda popping. after a few seconds, it'll accelerate like nothings wrong. but while its popping, it wont hardly go, just barely picks up speed, then suddenly i'm shooting foward. any ideas of what this is and/or how to fix it would be greatly appreciated

i would try replacing your spark plugs, make sure they are gapped correctly, then do the spark lug wires, i think it deff. is something electrical/ignition issue

i had a similar issue but at cold start i would start it and accel a little and it would pop thru intake mani and found out it was my maf

if all tune up parts are new and in working order, try cleaning the maf, but don't forget to run a koer test and see if any codes exist
