i have a 90 hatch that is worked and i recently put the battery relocate kit from taylor in. i have no clue if that has anything to do with the fact that the car wont start when it gets hot. when it gets heated up to normal running temp. it wont turn over it will crank and crank but it wont turn over and if i crank it for too long it smokes from somehwere. i dont know if this helps you diagnose the problem but if you need to know anything else let me know i really need to get this fixed asap because my poor baby is just sitting in the garage. oh yeah as soon as it cools down significantly it turns right over. thanks guys/and girls
did you relocate it to the hatch/trunk?..what gage wire did you run? what the amps on the battery?..did you run the ground back to the motor or the body?
the smoke is probably coming from the starter that is heating up, as for the issue, check for spark and fuel when it won't start, might have a bad tfi module if issue is spark related
