I have a 1994 GT with many mods including an Edelbrock Performer intake. I recently had the EGR programmed out and my question is if I can get rid of the intake elbow and mount the TB directly to the intake. The only thing that pops into my mind is possibly hood clearance - has anybody out there done this and/or got any thoughts on the subject?

I wouldnt think there would be any clearance issues.

I have this done to my 94 it works good. You have to get a fox throttle body and throttle cable. Trick flow makes a plate for the cable bracket so you dont have to use the egr spacer.
