Clunking Noise

Clunking Noise
I have an '89 LX that I have owned for a little over a month. I've noticed a clinking noise from underneath the car whenever you slow down or take off. The car has long subframe connectors and rear lower control arms already installed. I took it to a shop to have lowering springs installed. The technician told me the noise was due to the original stock rear upper control arms were worn out. He said that he didn't see any other issues underneath the car. I finally got the car back from the paint shop today and while putting my good wheels and tires back on I decided to replace the upper control arms with some heavy duty aftermarket ones. I got them on and drove the car around and I still have the clunking noise. Anyone have any thoughts as to what I should look at next?
Thanks in advance.

Hey did you ever fix the problem? What Fixed it? I Aslo have replaced all 4 control arms, new axles, gears, new drive shaft, rebuild the t-5,everything is in tolerance and I still have the dam clunking when im in low speed 2nd gear and i push the gas on and off fast. The only used part left is a rebuilt traction lock with the used spider gears and carrier.
