throttle cable stuck at wide open throttle

throttle cable stuck at wide open throttle

This is the second time during hard acceleration the car got stuck at wide open throttle,.

Should I change the cable?

Could it be something else?

id just change the cable..thats something pretty serious.

There is probably a ridge in the throttle body. Mine did that and I adjusted he set screw on it so it wouldnt slam shut and get stuff. It didnt affect my idle at all.
