Vibration at 3000 RPM

RE: Vibration at 3000 RPM
It could be many things contributing to the vibrations. I will list the things that I know could cause it to vibrate:
1. Motor mount/tranny mounts shot
2. Crank damper is bad
3. Crank could be walking
4. Poor running engine at that RPM causing a unbalanced condition (cause from fuel/electrical)
5. Bubble on any one (if not more) of your tires
6. Bent rear axle(s)
7. Driveshaft joints bad
There are other things too, but those are the only things that I find that could be the problem. I would check number 5 first, then 1, 2, and 6 next. The rest are rare.

RE: Vibration at 3000 RPM
How bad is the vibration? If you are used to a FWD car or maybe just something less powerful or if it is just a new car for you it will feel different. I was used to driving a Honda 5 speed before I got my mustang and I was worried for a while because the shifter feels completely different but just like all RWD sports cars do. If the vibration is something very bad or just started to happen then it is probably something mentioned.

mine dose the same thing it is most a 3k, but it is still their all the way to red line, i looked and i broke the right side motor mount, oops lol life goes on, but i would check mounts first, look at your motor mounts good they might look ok at the top but could be cracked up on the bottom.
