I bought a set of draglites. I won't be racing this car for a pretty good while, so I just bought all four the same size with 225/60r15 tires. Should have taken wheel spacers into consideration? The guy had them on a mustang that was an 88, is the suspension/front end setup different from 84 to 88. If I need spacers, where is the best place to find them for a fair price. I would also need an extended set of lugs. The advice is very helpful, I appreciate it to all who have gave input.

You won't need spacers. Speaking of the front end though you might want to consider swapping the spindles, shocks, and brakes over to at least a 87-93 5.0 stuff.

Well, I was ticketed in the mustang, so I am going to go ahead and put in the garage for a little bit and get the work done to it that I need to so that I can keep saving money ( I use a lot of gas with this as opposed to my pick up, hard to stay out of the pedal ), so I will probably have a lot more questions before too long. My last three mustangs I was all about restoring to stock, this one I just want to have fun. Hoping to take out all of the a/c components, already took out the stereo and speakers and subs ( the previous owner had subs in the back hatch), also open to suggestions for power and quickness. Would like to leave in the back seat and what not though. Not looking to delete all of that yet, because I still use it to commute to the airport on occasion for my aviation classes.
