Default HELP!!! Mustang running bad running out of options

HI i have a 88 mustang gt the only mod it has is a cam (guy who had the car last) the car was sitting for a while and i bought it a few months ago the car was running fine... then it wouldnt run right it was missing like crazy when you got on her. I changed the plugs wires cap and rotor it was fixed and now the car seems like its missing under accel. at low rpms itll jerk and miss almost wanting to cut out....and then itl cut out when your in neutral when you rev it itll cut out then rev.The car will stall at idle after 2 mins and then start up again it seems fine but still missing unnder accel, and when it gets hot itll die out ive changed the fuel filter idk what else it could be!!!! please help!!!! thanks

^I agree, try a fuel pressure test. My bro-in-laws car was doing this same thing. It turned out to be that the small black hose on the fuel pump had a hole in it. Within two days it went from doing what yours is now, to not running at all.

Have you cleaned / inspected the MAF sensor wires?

Also, in the darkest possible place open the hood and run the engine. Look for sparks around the coil, distributor cap, and between the wires and what ever is around them.

If that is the problem, it won't hold fuel pressure after the engine is cut off.
