VIN LOCATION

DID FORD STAMP THE VIN ON THE BLOCK OR TRANS ON THE 89 5.0 HO. I AM TRYING TO VARIFY IF IT IS THE ORIGINAL MOTOR. IF SO WHERE CAN i FIND IT STAMPED

The last 8 digits of your Vin number are stamped at the top rear of the block.
These are from my 89.
