With the TFI I would expect it to buck like crazy up until it dies then have to wait for a while before it would run proper again.

Perhaps the 2 main ecu connections behind the intake are corroded? I would think if they were causing the problem though it would randomly stall or idle funny. Not just after it got warm, but you never know its worth taking a look at.

Do you have a spare distributor you could put in to rule out the PIP?
I just borrowed a dizzy from buddy just haven't had time to throw it in. I actually try those connecters but they're a pain to take apart, broke a clip and figured I'd hold off on it. But I'll check it out tomorrow.

I kinda figured swapping the dizzy would solve the issue.
