help ignition issues

Good then we can rule out fuel issues, cause if it was fuel related the gauge would drop to 0 immediately.
With the TFI I would expect it to buck like crazy up until it dies then have to wait for a while before it would run proper again.
Perhaps the 2 main ecu connections behind the intake are corroded? I would think if they were causing the problem though it would randomly stall or idle funny. Not just after it got warm, but you never know its worth taking a look at.
Do you have a spare distributor you could put in to rule out the PIP?

I have an 86 5.0 built 306, tuned already, maf converted. So my problem is the car will run fine but 20 min into the drive when everything gets good and warm, the car will intermittently die. It dies like you shut the key off, engine just stalls out no sputter like a fuel issue, and its not ignition switch it's newer, and it doesn't shut of the radio and accessories. I have replaced the module and module connector already. I resistance tested the coil checked fine, but im not sure how accurate that is because the problem is when everything gets warm. Other than that the only idea is the pick up coil. any ideas which one is more likely?
