Default Rim hitting back of bottom A-arm

I have a 92' LX that is lowered with 17"x8.5" rims. When I turn the wheel lock to lock my rim hits the back of the bottom a-arm. I was told that I could get spacers that fit in the rack and pinion to keep the wheel from turning so far. If so does anyone know where I can buy them? Or is there another solution? Please Help!
