and that dyno "pull", the motor spiked 10psi for an instant and then settle at 8psi. i wanted to get some solid 10psi pulls but i didnt even get one full pull. ill have to play with the boost controller more to get it to even out
Alright cool! I guess lazy was the wrong word to use. I did not even bother to look in your sig at that 60ft time. Seeing that you have 8-10psi already, how much boost do you think you'll go up to?

most of my launches were slow due to the pms's 2 step pulling fuel which limited my ability to make boost on the line. when i realized you need fuel to spin the turbos i went to an msd 2 step which allowed for more boost while on the trans brake. went to the track once like that and just kept spinning the tires. then i realized, if more fuel makes more boost/power, a lot more fuel will make a lot more boost/power. so since the last time i went to the track i went into the wot table of the pms and gave it more fuel below 3000rpm as well as almost 40* total timing. it was the change in the wot table that made the motor hit boost fast and hard on the dyno. it has yet to go to the track since that change was made

dont know how much boost ill run. ill probably pull the plug when im comfortably over the 600rwhp mark. 625rwhp sounds like a nice round number to me

That's what I love about these tuners(Tweecer & PMS, etc.), the tuning capabilities are endless. I'm looking forward to see what you run at the track. I was thinking 800rwhp sounded good, but 600 is okay....I guess. LOL!

800 to the tires is really pushing the limit of my aod and well beyond the capacity of my fuel injectors and fuel pump. if the motor was n/a the a1000 could probably support 800rwhp but boosted itll never make it. i think they are only rated for 800block hp on a power adder motor. ive already got about $1500 in my fuel system i just cant afford any more. that includes a sumped tank, a1000 fuel pump, 2 aeromotive fuel filters, aeromotive fuel regulator, -8 braided line from tank to fuel rails, -6 braided line from fuel rails back to tank, 55# injectors and more AN fittings then id like to add up.

I know, I was just playing around with the 800 number. I still think 600rwhp is going to be a great, yet lofty goal, for a 302(?). It's even hard for some 347 supercharged motors to hit 600+rwhp. And I can't forget that that AOD is going to rob quite a bit of horsepower. There's a guy on the Corral with a similar set-up as mine pumping 500rwhp and running high 10's@127+(I believe). Although I know I am far off that range, it's nice to think what a 600hp turbo car will run. A 9 second street car sounds impressive if you ask me.

331....Thanks. Those horsepower and torque ratings, along with that 1/8th time with less than 6psi makes alot of sense now. Alright Good deal.

so your prob making 465-495 torque to the wheels, thats bad ***!!

would love to see a full pull with number's, but id be much more impressed by a low 10second 1/4mile pass

good luck!
