Default X-Plan Help

So from what I hear, people are getting the x-plan by signing up for the AMC something? Does this take affect immediately or is there a waiting period?, and who do you contact to get the pin and confirm this?

Im looking into getting either a base gt, or premium gt with the 3.73 as the only option. About what would the price be for both?

While im asking questions, what GT do you have to get in order to have track apps?

The "something" is MCA... Mustang Club of America. Once your membership is paid, you are eligible immediately to receive your pin. However, the dealership will ask proof of eligibility and that proof is usually your membership card (it has your membership # and expiration date on it). But the dealership may be less stringent. Mine was since they let me log into my MCA account online there at the dealership and it showed my member number and expiration date right there. But some dealers might want to accept only the actual membership card you get in the mail

The Ford Partner website that provides X-Plan pricing online isn't showing the pricing for 2013's right now. However, the dealer can provide this to you if you go to one.

It is my understanding that all the 2013's come with the track apps in the dash, not just a particular trim level. I could be wrong, but a trip to the dealer would answer that question.
Good luck.

I signed up for X plan through MCA and used it the following day after creating my pin. I went through a fiasco buying my car, but the doc fee went from $499 to $100. It cost $50, so it's worth it.

What do kind of fiasco? Did it have to do with the plan?

If you buy under any Letter plan, they can't charge over $100 for doc fee's. Also, I'm pretty sure you can get an X pin online by asking around on different car forums. Ford employees & retiree's get a couple to give away annually to anyone. Close family get the A/Z plan pricing.
