they make good power and even though they are "cheap", the quality of the work wasn't that great... I guess for $1500 I wasn't expecting not to have issue like the inserts come out of 3 cylinders.

Sorry to dig up this old post but I was looking up stuff about Patriot heads

01GT4.6, would you say stay away from the Patriot heads and get something else or are they worth a try for the price? I'm guess I'm not sure what other good brands of heads there are other than TF.

I'd say they are probably worth it. If I would have known that the inserts were going to come loose it would have been an easy fix off the car. I'd suggest running spark plugs in them 1st to at least check the inserts, if they have inserts.
