It looks like it doesnt sit quite right, or is this just me?
Yeah, it's off a little at the headlight bucket, but still looks very good. Nice job DS.

Are most aftermarket hoods that way? Because i put a new hood on my celica (carbon fiber) and its got slight fitment issues. Seems to me like all cosmetic aftermarket products are never perfect.

The hood 'really' should have pins than it would sit right at the headlight bucket. I'm happy for it being an ebay hood.

And I wouldn't call this a cosmetic product...the only reason its on the car is because I needed a freaking inch to fit my intake for more POWER

Nature of the best to never get a perfect fit when doing this sorta thing...but its pretty good (I think)

no. It is from a marina. Here is the sellers email address
a-atkins @ sbcglobal.net

The hood had a little damage on the corners that had to be fixed but the total bill was under $500 for prep and paint.

I fitted the hood and it was a bolt on, aside from some block sanding and the corner repair no other work was done to it

Beats me, car was this color when I bought it and even after wrecking it one...I just compu color matched it and then repainted it to the same color. THe PO called it Ragoon red with gold fleck. I am sure I could prob find out the color code if you want it...while it is a standard color code from the place I had the paint mixed at it actually doesn't have a name.
