Default quick question

ok, im going to get my cam in right now. yes, im a procrastinator. anyway. my cam only came with one little baggie of lube. im supposed to put a liberal amount on the cam lobes and lifter bottoms. but what about the cam journals. the round things after every 4 lobes, do i need to lube those up with anything?

in the book it also says to lube up the lifter ports with engine oil. anyone know what W i need to use

90 weight oil or axle grease. It is going to burn off in about 10 revolutions anyway, and whatever break-in oil you use will take over with lubrication after the engine is running.,

Use engine oil on the journals. Run the pump with a drill motor before you fire up the first time.
