73' wiring help
Hi everyone,
I am currently pulling my hair out with a electrical problem iv'e been having for a couple months now, the car was originally running, so I diagnosed the problem and found out it was the ignition system. Since then i have replaced the stock distributor, coil, and ignition module, with all msd components, and it still will not run. I have now the belief that the wiring is bad, which is not a bad assumption because the wiring is a mess to begin with. So my question is this does anyone know where i can get a hold of a wiring harness for a 73' in the engine compartment or possibly the whole car? Forgot to mentioin it is a 73 but has a 77' 302 with electronic ignition. If you could help me with my school project that would be great. Thanks,

RE: 73' wiring help
It may be easier to just pull the wiring harness and build your own. I did it over last winter and have a much safer harness. Running wiring under the engine where oil will soak it is not a good idea, not to mention the damage from engine heat over that many years.
I have a '73 convertible parts car that may have a decent harness. If you're interested, PM me and I'll get you in touch with my dad since it's stored at his place.

Yes! i am very interested. If you could see if the harness is any good and your email adress or something thatd be great help. its a school project my senior year and i need it in a hurry. If you have the quarter panels fenders or hood parts on it i am intrested in those as well. Thank you so much this is a big help because I really do not have the time nor expierience to piecemeal it together myself. My email is albion_j_bowers@hotmail.com. thanks alot.
