You'll need a distribution block to go with the dual resevoir. I hope you have some skill bending tubing, unless you can find some custom made tubing already available. An adjustable prop valve is also a good idea, as it allows you to dial in the proper brake balance front to rear. Wilwood makes a distribution valve/prop valve combo. You can also get this kind of stuff at Master Power Brakes for a decent price. Give them a call, and they'll be able to put together a kit for what you need.

A 1974 Maverick master cylinder and the proper Ford style combination valve. The MC is available new at any parts store for maybe $70. The valve is available new from NPD or used from ebay. $30-$120. Buy new ones.
Different MCs and valves are available for drum/drum or drum/disc systems. Make sure you get the right one. No adjustments are required with the right MC and combo valve. The MC is the right size for a Mustangs brakes, and the combo valve acts as both proportioning valve and distribution block. This is the way Ford would have done it.

The MC will bolt right in. The combo valve mounts behind the shock tower in about the same location as the old distribution block. Mount the valve in such a way that you can hook up the back brake line without having to modify the line. You then have to fabricate brake lines from the MC to the combo valve and hook up the front lines. (the front may require reworking or replacement, it depends on how long or bendable they are now.
It sounds tougher than it is, if you think things through it will go easy.

- only if you have front disc brakes.
