this thread cracks me up. All these responses aboutUniqueP not building the cars fast enough for their customers, but nobody mentioned the title washing and fake VIN plates. I found that part to be far more interesting.

Does anybody out their in Mustang Land have information/instructions on what needs to be done to fix the overheating problem on the 427 FE engines Unique Performance used?

I suggest you start a new thread, tell us what you have and have done and I bet there are folks here that can get your overheating trouble under control.

Last bit I read was Unique Performance had been siezed and liquidated, and there was some possibility of criminal charges.

If they were the slightest bit honest, the cars would have been delivered. If you gave a reputable shop, like Glazier Nolan, $150k, you'd have a car in six months. Unique Performance was cutting all sorts of corners, such as using work-release convicts to prep the car bodies. Lotta substandard work. Tried to blame Shelby for engine shortage. Dunno, I saw photos of a bunch of cars sitting around UP, and they didn't look like they were finished cars waiting for engines, they were stripped hulks with the VIN's removed.
