Cost of 289 rebuild, what to ask engine shops???

The first engine I rebuilt i tore down and put back together myself. i was only 16 at the time and I bought a book on how to rebuild ford small blocks from Jegs. It was really helpful and with it i was able to rebuild mine just fine.I just didnt know how to get get timing just right so i had a friend help me with that. It ran excellent.
