Who has 17s on their 69-70?

Latest Update
I picked up (4) 2003 Mach1 rims for $250 in great shape, which are 17x8.
The offset required longer studs and 5/16" spacers in the rear, but 275/40s fit no problem. I could probably go to 285s, but there are fewer of those to choose from.
In the front, 1.25" bolt on adapters allow 245/45s with no issues.
Total cost was about $350 for the rims, tires of course are extra, but I needed new ones anyway.
BTW, 9.5" rims would fit the rear easy, but maybe not the front.

Epilogue; Finally got all four tires with 235/45s front, 275/40s rear, BFG G-Sports. The new fronts have made a huge diff in ride quality. Both previous tire brands tramelled a lot (followed trucker's grooves).
Overall, this project has been worth it from both a performance and appearance point of view.
