Couple of Trim Questions?
How easy is it to replace these? Any tricks to removing & replaceing? And what's with the B clips?

Also, petty much the same question concerning the rea window trim.

Thanks in advance for any help/suggestions.

The nose trim is easy and the "B" clips into the underside of the trim so the wire stud can then press into the sheet metal.
The rear window trim is a little more tricky and you have to be careful not to damage your paint, the trim , or the studs as you remove it. Getting it installed perfectly is a bit of an art.
Where are you in CT?

Ya I figured it can't be that bad. Have tackled a few other trim pcs and thibk I may do this next.

Am a little more apprehensive doing this. There is a section, lower right hand side has a bit of an indentation. It's one of those things like "I know it's there" deals. Not to a point where it has to be addressed.

If you can at all use the originals. The reproductions look good but are thin and dent really easily, they are basically recycled coors cans. I would spend the money and take the originals and get them professionally polished.
I have the rear and front new moldings. I am going to try and reuse the originals. If I have to use the new ones, I will but I hope I don't.

rst08tierney:Any time ford has you use a "B" clip, B stands for lots of "B"eer needed for installation.

Ya I notice that about a lot of reproduction peices. They just don't fit like the originals and they are always of very poor quality. That is actually a good idea of having the originals professionally polished.
