Default Gauges

Im installing custom gauges in the cockpit. Bezel has speedo, fuel level, oil pressure, volts, water temp. tach mounted on steering column. Im going to install 2 more gauges in the center console im building.

Question is what do you think are the next 2 most important gauges?
347 AOD carbed

thanks,
Dan

Hey. I have a question. I do not have my Battery Gauge hooked up. How do you hook one up in a 65 mustang? Do I connect the positive directly to the battery or what?

Thanks

You could always run a Trans Temp Gauge.

trans temp might not be a bad idea

air/fuel is a great idea but at $300...

fake...what does measuring vacuum tell me? and if my water temp is in check wouldnt my oil temp be ok as well? I cant see oil getting hot when water temp is good. But im a novice which is why I ask

thank you

Dan

Never connect it directly to the battery. The gauge will drain the battery even if the car is off. Connect the positive lead of the gauge to a switched power source. I would suggest a wire comming from the ignition switch that gets power when the switch is in the "ON" position.
