Got The Runs? (Cut and Buff Tech)
#11
BTW, I have been meaning to ask if you got your ProFlow 2 working. I haven't fired mine yet.
I was thinking about doing that also, but well, I just didn't...
Anyway, if anyone is thinking about using a blade, it works great, but you don't actually cut the run off, hold the blade at more than 90*, dragging the blade across the run, taking a little off each pass. You DO NOT want the blade to bite under any circumstances, you want the blade to SCRAPE.
SOMETIMES, a run can be made into a low spot, which sucks about as bad as a run. I just decided to work slow and to try to avoid this.
I worked on the passenger side for about an hour today, subject to further inspection the runs are totally gone.
I will do the same to the drivers side tomorrow.
