How about shaving the stock heads to 11-1?

You willing to pay for premuim gas that would require? My 289HP doesn't have compression that high.

The original 4V setups, such as the 65-67 A code and K code, 68 J code, and 69 M code, had flat-top pistons, yielding about 10.5:1, and Ford recommended premium fuel for them.

Hey, I'm willing to just go premium gas...as long as I have more ponies...lol.

It's not a daily driver anyway...I drive my Stang once a week.
