Old Mustang Conversion?
#21
If they have some familarity with old cars and parts, and have at least a little DIY mechanical experience, sure, it can be done a LOT cheaper. I'm sticking with $10-12K on this one. Helps somewhat to be old enough to have a driver's license and a job too. Just saying.

Hmm. I haven't noticed ANY old Mustangs "cheap" on this end of the country. I expect people who claim to own Brabus's have different perspective on what is cheap than I do.
Andrew above guesstimated about $3000 to change one over to a V8. I'd have to triple that estimate. First because you don't seem to be aware that Ford does not sell and has not to my knowlege ever sold a "350" engine in anything. Secondly, any bit of research at all will tell you that old six cylinder Mustang suspensions, brakes, and drivetrains need to be upgraded to work well and safely with a V8 swap. Period. Third, you joined a specifically Ford forum and chose to interact on it with a username that denigrates car brands that are not German.
Maybe more like $12K.
