Is it normal to feel the bump in the road in my steering wheele? One of my friends says its just because it sets so low to the ground. If I let go I can see it vibrate up and down.
Sounds like you have something out of balance or alignment issues. On a smooth road, the steering wheel should be motionless. Bumps will come through, though, just like on any vehicle.
If the bumps are causing your steering wheel to turn, thats bump steer, from you car being lowered.
Alot of companies make a bump steer kit to adjust your ackerman angle.
