Default hot wiring my mustang to move it ?

i posted a few weeks ago when someone tried stealing my mustang and broke my ignition out , i still have yet to get it fixed i had a guy come out and look at it but apparently the only reason they didnt get off with my car was because they broke something off inside that they werent suppose to and that caused them not to be able to steal it .

is there anyway that i can start my mustang up ? i really need to drive it a few blocks over to the mechanics but it hasnt been moved since the breakin happened and it seems like there should be some way to get it started

If your car has the factory security system with the little black transponder ring around the ignition switch, then you car doesn't really "want" to start without the key (because of the little chip in it). So if you key has a chip then the theives couldn't hotwire it, but you can because you can just hold the key up where it is supposed to be to trick the car and start it. Just tow the b*tch if you don't know what your doing.
