07 throttle control trouble code
Good day all! I have an 07 Twin turbo gt. ran great all summer. I decided to store it for the winter in a heated garage. Yesterday I decided to put the battery back in and fire it up. Car started but the wrench light was on as well as the cel. car would not go passed the 1k mark. indicating it was in limp home mode. I checked the code and got the p2104 i believe it was. I removed the battery for a while and retried and still got the same error.
One thing I did noticed over the summer and never really paid attention to was when I would turn the ignition on my throttle body was flutter open and shut real fast, sounded like a machine gun making the very loud tick tick tick tick tick. If I would try to start the car before it was done it's cycle no go! any ideas?
possible bad actuator?

Had a similar issue in March. Ran fine during the day, and then in the evening would start and be limp mode and the next day no starting at all. My advice would be to check things in this order.
1. MAF (make sure it isn't dirty)
2. Throttle position sensor (replace it, I've done it twice)
3. Throttle Body (Hopefully it isn't this one since its the most expensive)
Sounds like it probably isn't the MAF, but you might as well check it for posterity's sake

I realize this ridiculously late, but I have the TPS from Autozone. I had two ford TPS go bad, and just bought the Duralast piece. Its been about a year and so far so good. Its nice since TPS from ford happens to come attached to a Throttle Body, so you have to buy the whole assembly (I think). So if your going to replace you TPS keep that in mind
