Hi guys my vert top is in well kept shape always cared for, I have checked TSB'S and also the operation for up to latch is fine also auto windows down is fine but she won't go down all the way. The top now sits higher then before just above rear seats? is there a way of adjusting the down position? Can the cyl rod ends be adjusted or can they become loose? , any help would be appreciated

dude i had that EXACT thing happen to my 05 vert. about a day later the whole damn frame ate itself. turned out some a-hole had climbed on the top and bent something. Thankfully the insurance covered the repairs, took a new top, frame and all at about $6k. I'd not put the thing down until you can be sure its not about to go the same way as mine.
