Exclamation Engine trouble, anyone in NE with answers?

Started the car today and the thing is ticking very loudly from the drivers side head. The oil pressure is good, good on oil. Doesn't seem like a exhaust manifold gasket. Does anyone know of a good shop anywhere near lincoln NE that could get the car in? If I have to have the motor tore down I'm thinking I just want to have it rebuilt and forged because it has 85k miles. So my two main questions are

Do you know of a shop close that won't rip me off and what is the cheapest price you think I could forge the engine for since I'll be keeping the stock forged crank. Could I also get a list of the cheapest forge build products you guys know. Thanks a ton guys, myself and my twin bro are getting ready to deploy and I would like to have a car to get around and have fun before I go.

This is a known issue with the machs....actually have a TSB out on it. I would go have it checked by a ford dealer...

probably around 4k on the cheap side if you shop around and order the parts yourself. I have a buddy that works at ford so I got all my gaskets at employee cost and then ordered rods from houston performance and pistons from lethal performance.

My build was .020 bored over, valve job on the heads, resurface/straighten the heads, polish the crank, assembly and install and I spent around 3600 total. My friend and I pulled the engine ourselves to save money.

no way man, dont take it to dealer, they will screw u big. If you know how to work on cars, I say diagnose it yourself, otherwise take it to a good shop. I used to work at ford in the heavy line department, trust me man they dont give **** about working on cars, you are better off a good certified mechanica shop, or doing it yourself. I say find a good shop, and rebuild the **** out of the engine, btw never had an experience with a mach 1 ticking while i worked at ford for 2 years.

called a dealership I trust today, they are getting ahold of a ford dealership to see the tsb and will call me back. I guess if they can fix the problem fairly cheap I'll have them check it out and I'll let you guys know what they say and you can give me ur opinion on rebuilding it or not. BTW, with the .020 over did you see much of a power gain? thanks a ton guys.

Will never figure anything out... I have called one shop and they said they need a ford dealer to see if there is a TSB. I called the local ford dealer and they say they will call me back and never do, or say that their computer is down... not sure what I'm gonna do.
