Default Intake spacer install idle issues

If it's not one thing it's another. I installed my intake spacer today and I evidently didn't get one of the bolts tight enough. I could hear the air hissing as it was running and the RPM's would come down very slow after a rev. I tightened all the loose bolts and I don't hear the air anymore. The RPMs still fall slowly though and when they get to around 1K the exhaust pops and they fall to normal idle (750 or so). Any ideas how to correct this?

take a can of fuel injection cleaner and spray it around your intake manifold while the engines running. when you hit a spot with it and the idle changes you've found your vacuum leak.

Did you reuse your EGR gasket? If so get a new one and replace it. I wish I would have when I found out how much they cost. It looked reusable but it leaked and had to get the gasket and install it.

I reused the same gasket but that turned out to be my problem. When I put it all back on the gasket had fallen down to where only one bolt was holding it in place. The car runs better now but it still hangs just a bit. Not like before when the gasket was cockeyed. I think that's my next step is to get another gasket.
