tritan 6.8L 3 valve swap questions
I have a 2002 v6 with a 8.8 rear end 4.10 gears and a aluminium driveshaft. I can get a 6.8l v10 crated for $3800
Will I need a stronger tranny and if anyone could post a link to a strong tranny thank you.
Will my drivetrain be ok?
What other things might I need
6.8l v10 tritian puts out about 350hp 450 torque
Idk much about swapping engines so some help would be great. Thanks guys.

First off the 6.8 is quite a large motor from a truck, so length will be an issue. If you get by that, then I imagine that, as with most truck motors, the intake manifold will be an issue as I am willing to bet it is too tall to clear the hood. Then there is the wiring, and mounts. Also you need to see what transmission even will bolt up to that block, it might be the same block as the 5.4, but with 2 more pistons and a different bore and/or stroke, but I don't know. Anyways, this is all moot because if you don't know much about swapping engines then this is out of your league, I don't know much either but I do know that using the v10 would not be a good or cost effective choice. I mean crazier stuff has been done, like the guy that did a TT Viper V10 in a mustang, but it takes a ton of knowledge.
