Seems like a terrible idea to resto-mod such a sought-after car in original condition. Even clones of these bring big money. This would be cool, but he should have gone with a less fantastic donor car to do something like this. With the modern GT500 drivetrain, could have still called it a GT500, no matter what model mustang it started out as. What a waste.
And just from an eBay standpoint, who is going to plunk down more than a quarter million bucks with a seller with no history, and a "0" feedback rating, even if the car was worth it (which it is clearly not)
Makes me sad to think there's one less genuine '67 Shelby in the world because of the whim to build this thing.
